Application Developer · Buckeye, Arizona
I build enterprise Drupal systems that hold up.
I’m Peder Klockmann, an application developer specializing in business-critical Drupal 7–11 applications, custom modules, integrations, upgrades, and maintainable full-stack solutions.
01 / Profile
Enterprise development, grounded leadership.
I develop and maintain reliable applications with PHP, JavaScript, Twig, HTML, CSS, Composer, and Drush. My Drupal work spans custom modules and themes, services, plugins, configuration management, security updates, major-version upgrades, and internal and third-party integrations.
At Maricopa Community Colleges, I collaborate with developers, analysts, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver systems supporting students, faculty, and staff across one of the nation’s largest community college districts. Earlier service in the U.S. Marine Corps and overseas emergency response shaped the calm decision-making, accountability, and teamwork I bring to software development.
02 / Experience
Building, supporting, and teaching.
Application Developer
Develop enterprise Drupal applications across versions 7–11. Design custom modules, themes, services, plugins, Twig templates, and integrations; lead upgrades and security work; troubleshoot production issues; and partner with stakeholders across the district.
Software Developer Specialist
Helped develop and maintain Common Framework 2.0, the enterprise Drupal platform supporting the district-wide web presence. Delivered enhancements, custom functionality, updates, deployments, documentation, and production support.
Laboratory Technician & Learning Facilitator
Supported CIS labs and mentored students in PHP, JavaScript, C#, Java, MySQL, HTML, CSS, debugging, object-oriented programming, and practical problem solving.
Full-Stack Web Developer
Built and maintained responsive websites, database-backed applications, client integrations, hosting environments, and a custom construction business-management application using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Firefighter, Crew Leader & Information Management Officer
Led emergency-response crews and supported Fire Department systems on the U.S. Army NIPR network, building a foundation in disciplined execution, operational readiness, leadership, and cross-team coordination.
03 / Selected work
Backend systems built for real operations.
Common Framework 3
Backend development for the shared Drupal platform used by Maricopa Community Colleges, nine college websites, and related District Framework properties. I develop and maintain reusable backend functionality, integrations, configuration, and deployment workflows that help keep the sites reliable, secure, and current.
Faculty Minimum Hiring Qualifications
Built the Drupal application from the ground up, including its backend architecture and a custom CSV importer that transformed and populated the initial faculty-credentials dataset. I support its technical maintenance and deployments; business teams manage its editorial content.
Updates, Security & Deployments
Core and contributed-module updates, configuration management, security releases, testing, troubleshooting, and coordinated deployments across production higher-education websites.
Construction Operations System
A custom database-backed application supporting client, worker, job, and quote management workflows from requirements through deployment.
Maricopa Community Colleges work was completed as part of the application development team. My responsibilities focus on backend engineering, platform maintenance, and deployments—not editorial content.
